The two-story facility holds six screening rooms with luxury seating and five bowling lanes where you can bowl during regular business hours, but Strike +Reel has the added bonus of being open late on weekend nights from 8 pm to 2 am so patrons can dine, drink and watch TV shows of their choosing after eating at restaurant buffet style whether they are with friends or by themselves. The first one, Strike + Reel, is 90,000 square feet filled with luxury dine-in movie auditoriums equipped with large format screens so you can watch your favorite movies while reclining on either luxurious seats or couches for the ultimate experience. Located at 5902 N President George Bush Hwy, Garland, TX 75044-3912, Strike + Reel takes its roots from bowling and cinema to create a new kind of entertainment venue. The end result brings to fruition the client’s desire for a fun, memorable guest experience in an engaging dining and entertainment destination.The Strike + Reel entertainment venue is the first of its kind, combining bowling and cinema with luxury dine-in movie auditoriums featuring large-format screens, recliners with full bar service available for patrons to indulge while watching their favorite film or TV show.
The Scott + Reid project team also incorporated additional specialty vendors, including those for the theatre, ropes course, and climbing wall, into the overall project schedule to ensure a seamless execution for all parties.

The specialty bowling lane vendor requires several months to properly prepare and install the lanes in advance of the venue opening. The biggest challenge facing the project team was ensuring the bowling lane area was roofed, lit, and conditioned before the entire facility shell was completed. Hot rolled steel was used for an exterior canopy and for various siding and ceiling accents.Ĭoordination and scheduling were critical components to the successful project completion. An eye-catching 100-foot tower is comprised of structural steel with a Parklex manufactured wood paneling façade. Exterior veneers include brick, structural steel joist and deck, exterior paint, and a store-front entrance.
The building is constructed of tilt-wall panels, both exterior and interior.
It includes a restaurant, 22 bowling lanes, interactive video games, rock climbing, suspended ropes course, and eight dine-in movie theatres with plush amenities such as large format screens, luxury recliners, and full bar service. This newest concept is named after its roots in bowling and cinema.
Entertainment Property Group, a repeat client for whom Scott + Reid has built multiple Pinstack locations, once again partnered with Scott + Reid for the 90,000-square-foot construction and build-out of their newest entertainment destination venue in Garland, Texas.
